As your session approaches you may be wondering what you can do to ensure that you get the best results possible. Well the first thing that we want to you to focus on is that YOUR session is a time for you to relax and have fun. It is our job to make sure you get the best pictures possible - and if you are having a good time it will help make our job a lot easier.
Location
We generally recommend you choose a location for a session that has some meaning to you - but if you are stumped we can help you find a great place for your photos. If you are considering a public space for your session let us know so we can make sure to arrange any permits (if required).
What to bring?
When deciding what to wear to your session that are no hard rules. You will probably want to wear comfortable clothing, as there is a good chance we will be making you move around. Do not be afraid of bright, rich colours but try to make sure the colours in your group compliment each other. Adding accessories is a great way to vary your looks and add complimentary colours and textures. It is always a good idea to bring some extra clothing in case of any wardrobe mishaps or just to have different looks.
If you have young children in your session you may want to bring some toys or activities to keep them happy and occupied for those few times they may not be the centre of attention.
The most important thing to remember is that Laura and I want your portrait experience to be a positive one, so please do not hesitate to send us an email or give us a call if you have any questions.
See you at your session!
